The Solara Collection was inspired by the Sun King who was also known as Louis the Great king of France (Louis XIV) who ruled France for 72 years (1643-1715). He took the symbol of Apollo the god of sun and light as his personal emblem and adorned the ornate golden gates at the Palace of Versailles with this symbol.
